Oaklands Butchery has built up a reputation for supplying excellent quality meats and poultry to households and restaurants for over 45 years since its establishment in 1969. We are always on hand to offer our expertise on all your preparation and cooking requirements.  We set ourselves apart with our wide range of speciality meats and poultry such as free-range and Wagyu grass-fed beef, all cuts of veal, a large variety of venison, guinea fowl, quail, rabbit and more. We also carry a large variety of Italian delicacies, both local and imported, such as Salciccia and Luganiga as well as Salamies, Parma Hams and Mortadella. Our wide range of cold meats includes homemade Pastrami, Pickled Brisket and Carpaccio, Beef Salami, Bresaola and Smoked Chicken to name but a few. 

We stock a wide variety of  marinated Beef & Pork Ribs,

Spatchcock Chicken  and Speciality Sausages.

Our Biltong and Droe Wors, Beef or Game, is world famous and we will vacuum pack it for your overseas travel. For the non-Beef eaters, try our chicken or turkey biltong!   

Whether it’s a marinated Spatchcock Chicken or a deboned Stuffed Turkey, a free range or organic Baby Chicken or any cut of Beef or Lamb that your recipe book requires, chances are you will find it at Oaklands Butchery.  We also offer a delivery service anywhere in Jo’burg (Monday to Saturday).

Oaklands Butchery also offers full braai facilities with our Lamb on the spit, which means you can have a stress-free event!
